Future Ride Sharing Project for Fridays when school buses aren’t running?
We are interested in knowing whether there is a good way to support ride sharing for high school students to and from the ferry –particularly on Fridays when the school buses aren’t running.
We have an online message neighborhood ride posting board that has not been activated yet. Would this be useful? We would need parent / student support to assist with it.
When we are able to print enough Mirror Tags we could distribute them on the 3:30 and 4:30 ferry from Horseshoe Bay to encourage commuters on those runs to give lifts to high school students. Again we would need parent and student support.
